We have provided facility analysis, long-range master planning, and pre-bond issue programming and planning. After passage of a $15.5 million bond issue, WKMC helped the District win an Instructional Facilities Allotment Grant from the State of Texas. This grant funded approximately 70% of the bond improvements program.
WKMC was the architect of record for site and building improvements at Cuero High School. The additions included a new academic building and cafetorium. This new building will houses science and technology labs, classrooms, library and administrative support functions. Other improvements on the existing high school campus included six new tennis courts, demolition of the old academic building, drainage and access improvements, new fire alarm systems, and other life safety improvements. The high school serves approximately 750 students in Grades 9 through 12.
