Orange Grove’s new primary school fits neatly into its mesquite brush country neighborhood. This colorful, kid-friendly school was designed to mirror and respect the adjacent award-winning high school (also designed by WKMC). Design of both campuses draw from regional agricultural buildings by the use of galvanized steel roofing and siding, and reflect the traditional Texas buildings constructed by German immigrants.

The school’s entry features a traditional “Bell Tower” in which a donated operating bell is suspended. All classrooms utilize natural light, movable cubbies (cabinets) for instructional centers and integrated technology infrastructure.
