Design of this new two-story showroom was driven by the desire to give the dealership a competitive edge and to reflect the solid and reliable reputation that Mercedes Benz offers. Structural steel and glass were used so that the display vehicles become the primary focal points. This immaculate showroom is friendly and open and provides unencumbered product representation for customer convenience. In addition to the showroom and service areas, the dealership features a lounge, complete with business stations and a cafe, and a kid’s play area that is visible from both the sales and service areas. Behind the service shop is a free-standing car wash. The site features brick pavers at the sidewalk, vehicle display and beautiful coastal landscaping. Building Information Modeling (BIM) software was used to create three-dimensional models of the proposed facility that made it easier for the client and contractor to understand design intent and construction documents during construction. This new Mercedes-Benz dealership in Corpus Christi was featured in Design Cost Data for its design excellence.
