WKMC Architects, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have recently completed our design management phase for the majority of the Del Mar College 2014 Capital Improvements Bond Program.

Construction contracts have been authorized on all three new major buildings and the Central Plant Improvements at both campuses. All projects are under budget!

The four major projects are:

  • New General Academic Building/Music Building, Phase 2; East Campus
  • New Workforce Development Center; West Campus

  • Central Plant Improvements at East & West Campus

The combined construction cost of these projects totals $71,915,018.00. The combined new building space is approximately 210,000 square feet.

The savings which the College realized will allow them to allocate approximately $16,704,557 to additional projects beyond what the voters were promised.

WKMC Architects, Inc. provided bond planning, project scoping, project budgeting and design phase management on all of these projects and more!

The total 2014 Capital Improvement Bond Program is $157,000,000.00.
